The value of alignment

Alignment in Darkfall is with a numerical value, which is designed to judge something about how good or evil you are considered by other characters and by guard towers. When it comes to acquiring an alignment or a loss of alignment, the basic theory is that you gain alignment by killing evil characters and killing good ones will result in a loss of alignment. The alignment system is the main rule to determine if you are in good standing or bad standing with the members of your own racial pairing. Hitting players in your party or your clan will not carry any alignment penalties, or turn you rogue.
