One of the four subcontinents in darkfall world

There are four subcontinents presented in the darkfall world lore. The first one is Niflheim which is located in an icebound arctic wilderness. With a thriving population, Niflheim is home to both ice giants and winter dragons. The northmen which is a brave race of pale-skinned and black-haired humans are settled along the Niflheim’s southern coast. The northmen make full use of the sea and almost make a living on it. They trade, fish and sometimes raid on a more fertile land in the south. The settlements of the northmen are more like islands since few roads can connect them. As a result, the northmen usually use ocean travel as their transportation support.
